Prayer and a Pint
You are warmly invited to Prayer and a Pint on Monday 23rd April 2018 starting at 7.45pm in St Edmund’s Church, for a short candlelit service of Compline (evening prayer).
This will be followed straight afterwards by informal chat of a slightly theological nature (eg
Why is there evil in the world? Why does God allow suffering? Is there life after death?) over a pint in the Horseshoe (nearly next door) from shortly after 8 pm for an hour.
Timings are approximate, and you are welcome to come and go to any part of the evening as
you please. If you would like to bring a friend along with you, that would be even better!
Please share this information with anyone you think might be interested.
